The first online cooking class between Ecole Hôtelière du Périgord and QVTCHM

The college and Ecole Hôtelière du Périgord held the first online cooking class and French Green cooking class activity on September 22.

Wang Xin, deputy secretary of the Party committee of the college, attended the activity and delivered a speech, expressing her thanks to the teachers from both sides who made hard work in this activity. She said that we have strengthened communication and made joint efforts through the Internet due to the continuous epidemic situation between China and France, and we reached a number of consensus on the development of courses and projects of vocational and technical skills, course certification, teacher-student exchanges, cultural research and other activities. She hoped that the two sides would carry out closer, broader and deeper cooperation to improve the skills, to communicate the education, culture and customs between our two countries.

During the activity, the students majoring in Western Food Technology learned some French classic dishes such as vanilla lamb with cream juice, truffle lobster slices with celery mousse through video link.

Affected by the epidemic situation, the two sides, adhering to the principle of continuous international exchange of Chinese and French cuisine, tried and reformed the teaching method of online international cuisine, so as to deeply integrate information technology and vocational education teaching to improve the skills of students and expand their careers view.
