The new Hismile academic activities were officially launched on April 23. According to the needs of epidemic prevention and control work, academic activities were held through online live broadcast.
We held two online Hismile academic activities on April 23. Qian Zhike, associate professor of Qingdao University of Science and Technology, was invited to hold the Hismile lecture of Art education and hand-painted art on the platform of Learning FUN. More than 350 teachers and students of Art Dept. participated in the activity. The Dept. of Hotel Engineering held the Hismile Academic Salon of Energy saving technology and application of internet of things in the context of new energy through the Dingding platform. Zhang Peidong, chairman of Qingdao Adelson Energy Technology Co., Ltd., served as the guest speaker, and all the teachers of the Dept. of Hotel Engineering participated in the activity.
This semester, the Hismile series of academic activities are divided into three forms: Hismile lecture hall for Humanities and Social Sciences, Hismile Science Lecture Hall and Hismile Academic Salon. The first two Hismile lecture halls are maily to invite experts in the field of social and natural sciences inside and outside the college to make reports on the latest development of academic research frontier or industry in the field of society, science and technology; Hismile Academic Salon is mainly to carry out discussions around a certain academic topic or a hot spot in the professional field.
