The Initiation Meeting of the Second Round of Course Assessment Reform

The Department of Academic Affairs held the initiation meeting of the second round of course assessment reform and summary meeting of the first round of reform effect evaluation on October 10. Gong Enlong, Vice President of QVTCHM, Yi Wenjuan and 121 teachers attended the meeting.

Fours representatives who participated in the first round of reform, shared their experiences, and introduced their own practices from the aspects of the design of assessment scheme, the advancement of implementation process, problems encountered and suggestions for the reform of curriculum assessment methods.

Gong Enlong affirmed the reform of the first round of curriculum assessment, and deployed the second round of curriculum assessment. He emphasized that this reform is an effective way to improve teaching efficiency. Teachers should formulate reasonable, standardized and standard assessment schemes based on the actual situation of students, constantly improve students'learning enthusiasm, and strengthen the effect of curriculum assessment reform.

Yi Wenjuan made a report on the effect evaluation of the first round of reform and promotion plan of the second round. She gave feedback on the effect evaluation of the first round of reform, the results of student research and problems, and introduced the promotion of the second round of reform from three levels: college, departments and teachers.

In accordance with our plan, 130 teachers will participate in the second round of curriculum assessment reform this semester. The Department of Academic Affairs will take the lead of the secondary departments to strengthen the supervision and inspection of teachers'guidance, help and evaluation results, so as to lay a good foundation for the follow-up construction of professional course groups.

About Course Assessment Reform

The reform of course assessment mode is one of the key tasks of teaching this year, which carries out the National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan and the Teaching Reform. On March 18, 2019, we launched the reform by Opinions on Implementing the Reform of Course Assessment Ways. The first round of the reform involves 55 teachers in 35 courses, setting up a comprehensive, systematic and diversified way of course assessment, improving the effect of classroom teaching, which ensures the continuous improvement of the quality of teaching. Through student seminars, questionnaires, the Department of Academic Affairs solicited students'opinions and overall evaluation. Students' satisfaction with the reform exceeded 80%, and 99.32% of the courses and teachers who implemented the reform of assessment methods last semester were satisfied.
