China National Young Chefs Team for 2020 IKA Culinary Olympics is launched at QVTCHM

On June 11, the launch ceremony of China National Young Chefs Team for 2020 IKA Culinary Olympics was held at QVTCHM. Gao Bingyi, Vice President of the Chinese Cooking Association, Chairman of the Celebrity Chef Committee of the Chinese Cooking Association, Li Da, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College, coaches and team members of the National Youth Chef Team attended the founding ceremony.

At the ceremony, Li Da, on behalf of the College, congratulated the establishment of China National Young Chefs Team, thanked the Chinese Culinary Association, the Famous Chef Committee, the brothers'colleges and cooperative enterprises that have long cared and supported the development of the College, and introduced the general situation and the development of our college in recent years. He pointed out that leading the formation of China National Young Chefs Team is the full affirmation of the school's achievements and comprehensive strength of the Chinese Culinary Association, and is an effective carrier to carry forward the spirit of craftsmen and cultivate international professional elites. We will actively do a good job in team training, provide all-round support to ensure the orderly and smooth progress of training preparations.

Mr. Bianjiang thanks the college for its strong support to National Youth Chef Team. He said that the exchange of culinary culture and skills between China and the world has been expanding. Chinese cuisine has attracted the attention of the international market. It has also been integrated into various international culinary competitions and promoted the cultural exchange of culinary skills between China and the world. Mr. Bian announced the formal establishment of the National Youth Chef Team of China, and issued the plaque of Training Base for the National Youth Chef Team of China for our college and two other colleges.

Frontier and Li Da issued certificates for coaches and players of the National Cooking Youth Chef Team of China.

At the ceremony, Liu Lixin, the head coach of the National Youth Chef Team, announced the training plan. Jiang Yuntao spoke as a representative of the coach, while Yu Guangchuan, the team leader, spoke as a representative of the students. At the ceremony, the organizational structure, training plan, uniform, and mascot of the team were also announced.

On the afternoon of June 11, the young chefs of the National Youth Chef Team held their first working meeting. All the coaches and team members discussed the training plan for preparing for the 25th IKA Culinary Olympics in 2020.

About IKA Culinary Olympics

It is reported that the IKA is an international top professional competition certified by the World Federation of Chefs. It is held every four years. It has a history of 100 years since the start of the competition in 1900. It is currently the most representative international world culinary competition. In February 2020, the 25th IKA Culinary Olympics will be held in Germany.
