QVTCHM attends 2018 China Annual Conference for International Education & Expo (CACIE)

2018 China Annual Conference for International Education & Expo (CACIE) took place in Beijing National Convention Center from October 18 to 20, 2018. The theme of the Conference this year was Education Modernization -- Practice and Exploration. Mr. Li Da and Yu Min, Secretory of the Party at QVTCHM delivered a keynote speech and shared our experience at the Conference.

Mr. Li Da was invited to attend 2018 CACIE and delivered a keynote speech titled “Thinking and Practice on the Integration of Production and Vocational Education in New Era” . From his own working experiences, Mr. Li emphasized that the Integration of Production and Vocational Education should be an important principle of good vocational education, which represents the direction of development of modern vocational education. We always put students’ benefits on the top list, carry out the policies, pay more attention to practice. We believe our college is for the students and becomes the cradle of talents because of the Integration of Production and Vocational Education, Said Mr. Li.

Mr. Yu Min attended China-Canada Cooperation Forum on Vocational Education and shared the experience of our successful cooperation with Canadore College in recent years, Canada. He pointed out that the key to international cooperation is based on mutual benefit, win-win result and mutual learning. At the same time, we make full use of advantages of our majors, bring in international students and dispatch our exchange students.

Mr. Cheng Baosheng, Minister of Education of China, wrote to address the Conference. Mr. Jing Haipeng, super astronaut of PLA Space, and some experts from Russia and Ireland also shared their views about the modern education.

CACIE is China’s current biggest platform of the exchange for international education and is the window and bridge to connect the world. It attracted over 2,000 delegates at home and abroad.
