Volunteers from QVTCHM work for the 18th SCO Summit in Qingdao

The 2018 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit was held in China's coastal city of Qingdao on June 9th. 96 students was chosen to be volunteers working for this summit and 240 also worked as volunteers in Li Cang District. Because the student volunteers wear blue and white uniforms, they are nicknamed little sea splashes.

Before the summit, the students received lots of training on how the SCO works and the traditions of the countries participating in the summit. They worked so hard and passed a series of tests. During the summit, they worked as waiters, tour guide etc. Their outstanding work has received many thumbs-up from visitors and leaders for his professional and friendly assistance.

The students Felt so proud and enjoyed the work so much because they genuinely want to offer the best service. It is a great opportunity for them to do volunteer work which broadens horizons.
